DRC’sHaut-Katanga anti-fraud chief receives award, urges youth to reject manipulation
LUBUMBASHI, Democratic Republic of Congo, Aug. 5 (TOP243NEWS) – The head of the Anti-Fraud Brigade in the Democratic Republic of Congo's Haut-Katanga province said on Wednesday that an award he received from the Fatshi Digital Army would encourage him and his team to continue efforts to combat fraud and improve public revenue collection.
Speaking at an award ceremony in Lubumbashi, Provincial Director Philippe Kibawa said he was "deeply moved" by the recognition, describing it as unexpected.
The Anti-Fraud Brigade, a provincial government service, works with public revenue agencies to help maximize government revenue and combat tax, mining, economic and petroleum-related fraud.
