DRC:Urgent Warning Over Fake Phone Numbers Falsely Attributed to Mines Minister Louis Watum Kabamba
Kinshasa,July 14, 2026 (TOP243NEWS) – An urgent public warning has been issued following the circulation of phone numbers falsely claimed to belong to the Democratic Republic of the Congo's Minister of Mines, Louis Watum Kabamba.
Members of the public, mining operators, institutional partners, and investors are urged to exercise the highest level of caution. Malicious individuals may be using fake phone numbers or impersonating the Minister in an attempt to solicit money, favors, or confidential information.
