Kinshasa, August 19, 2026 (TOP243NEWS).- Following the proclamation of the results of the presidential election held on August 13 in Zambia, the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, has extended his warm congratulations to his counterpart, Hakainde Hichilema, on his re-election.
The Head of State wished him every success in carrying out his second term in office and expressed his hopes for greater peace, stability and prosperity for the brotherly Zambian people.
President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo also expressed his wish for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the Republic of Zambia—two nations united by geography, history and culture—to continue strengthening their bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of their peoples.
